Jason Good, CFA
Jason is the President at Intelligent Financial Strategies. He has a deep passion for helping clients achieve their most important goals and he places a high value on client relationships. Jason views his role as that of an educator and facilitator to help his clients achieve the lifestyle they ultimately desire.
Jason holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter and a BA in accounting with a finance concentration from St. John’s University. While at St. John's, Jason earned All-American and Academic All-American honors playing football for the Johnnies. He also earned a National Championship ring in 2003 while playing for legendary St. John's football coach John Gagliardi. Before becoming President at IFS, Jason worked at a hedge fund in the Twin Cities and as an advisor at a local firm. He is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society of Minnesota and Financial Planning Association.
When he is not meeting with clients, Jason is often enjoying time with his wife Lindsay and their two-year old boxer named Belle. He is an avid fisherman, fitness enthusiast and on Saturday afternoons in the fall, you can find him supporting his alma mater at a St. John's football game.
Rebecca Botzet, CFP®
Becky serves as a Financial Planner at Intelligent Financial Strategies. Becky is involved in all aspects of the financial planning process at IFS and enjoys delivering strategies to meet our clients’ needs.
Becky is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and holds a BA in economics from the University of Minnesota. Becky has over 16 years of experience in the financial industry including previous experience as a financial planner for a Twin Cities based financial planning firm. She has also worked as a mutual fund research analyst providing recommendations to 401(k) and pension plans. Becky is currently a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Away from the office, Becky loves spending as much time as possible with her family and she volunteers her time at her children's school whenever possible. She enjoys outdoor activities, especially spending time at her parent's lake home in northern Minnesota with her extended family. Becky is an avid reader which nowadays includes reading many books to her two children.
Connie Buescher
Connie serves as a Client Support Specialist at Intelligent Financial Strategies. Connie is the main contact at IFS for all questions related to your accounts outside of financial planning and investment strategy.
Connie holds an accounting degree from Central Community College and has previously been nominated by clients and received the Minnesota Governor’s Quality Service Award. Connie has served clients for many years in the life and health insurance industries. She has also worked in retail banking and mortgage lending.
Connie and her husband Gary live in Prior Lake and have three children. She enjoys watching her children's school and sports activities, working in her flower gardens and managing the family antique business. Connie contributes many hours of volunteerism through her Church and community organizations.
Charles Garrity, CLU, ChFC, CASL
Chuck serves as a senior advisor to Intelligent Financial Strategies. He founded the firm in 1995 after realizing that the general public had a profound need for objective, unbiased financial advice.
Chuck holds a BS in science from the University of Notre Dame. He also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) designations. Chuck previously served as the President of the Minneapolis Association of Life Underwriters.
Chuck currently resides in Naples, Florida. He is a voracious reader and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
